Job summary

The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, seeks a dependable Steward/Dishwasher & Kitchen Cleaner to support a fast-paced kitchen. PM shift 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, with evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

Responsibilities include dishwashing, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, waste management, and assisting chefs to ensure an efficient workflow. Candidates should be reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Must be a team player while also being capable of working independently and managing responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Must consistently report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans to support kitchen operations.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of kitchen areas.
• Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment, remove trash, and follow proper recycling procedures.
• Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff to maintain an organized and efficient workflow.
• Keep storage areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Complete assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining quality standards.
• Contribute to a friendly, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
