Wooded Glen Recovery Center in Henryville, IN is seeking a Cook for the 2nd shift to support meal preparation and serving for clients and staff. You will assist kitchen staff, prepare meals according to menus, and help with stocking, cleaning, and sanitation to maintain a safe dining environment.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 1+ year of institutional food service experience; Serv Safe or similar certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required/preferred.
• 1+ year of institutional food service experience preferred.
• Serv Safe or similar food safety certification preferred.
• Ability to operate dishwasher, stoves, ovens, mixers and related equipment.

Responsabilités

• Washes, cleans and sanitizes kitchen cookware and service items.
• Assists with meal preparation and portioning according to menus.
• Stocks storage areas and coolers during deliveries.
• Serves food to clients and staff at the serving counter.
• Maintains dining area cleanliness after meals and assists with setup.
