Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc is seeking a Cleaner to join our on-site team. You will perform basic cleaning of common areas, restrooms, entrances, and floors, using floor scrubbers and vacuums to maintain a pristine workplace.

We offer multiple shifts with full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities. The position requires 1 year of experience (preferred), good communication, and the ability to lift and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Capable of performing the physical demands of the job (bending, kneeling, carrying, lifting, reaching, standing).
• Must be willing to work assigned hours.

Responsibilities

• Clean basic areas including common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators and windows.
• Clean, sanitize and restock restrooms and break rooms.
• Empty trash and recycling; dispose of waste properly.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors in all areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers and vacuums.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management; attend to spills and related cleanup.
