Job summary

ServiceMaster seeks a part-time evening janitorial team member in Northwest Houston to keep facilities clean, healthy, and safe for customers and students. You’ll sweep, mop, remove trash, clean windows, and move furniture using standard ServiceMaster tools and procedures.

Shifts run 6:00 PM–10:00 PM with three 20-hour/week patterns; on-the-job training is provided, prior janitorial experience is a plus, and reliability and a positive attitude are valued. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus, but not required.
• On-the-job training provided for those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Experience with a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus.
• Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking role.
• A positive attitude — in uniform, dependable, and on time.
• Respect for co-workers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Facility Cleaning — Sweep, mop, polish, remove trash, clean windows, and move furniture and equipment using ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
• Inventory — Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Safety — Use proper PPE where required, including hard-toe shoes, hard hat, and safety vest.
• Site Security — Open and lock facilities, and arm and disarm security systems as required.
• Additional Duties — Other duties as assigned.
