ServiceMaster of Kalamazoo is seeking a Janitorial Float Technician to support our janitorial division across multiple local buildings. This hands-on, on-the-go role keeps you moving while you clean, support, and train.

Qualifications

• Office management skills including effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to learn GPS systems, laptops, iPads, and cleaning equipment.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to locate addresses, navigate new buildings, and follow cleaning task lists.
• Detail-oriented with customer perspective regarding cleaning outcomes.
• Ability to work 5:00 pm–3:00 am with rotational weekend on-call.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the janitorial division and report to the Float Manager and Zone Managers.
• Coordinate with float manager to meet scheduling and cleaning needs of janitorial clients.
• Perform all janitorial duties and related tasks including inspecting, delivering supplies, doing laundry, and warehouse tasks.
• Maintain high-quality cleaning standards and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist janitorial technicians with training, reminders, and respectful communications.
• Accept ownership to accomplish tasks and add value to serve customers.
