Job summary

Advanced Building Maintenance Inc. is seeking a motivated Janitor to maintain cleanliness in commercial and medical building settings in Salt Lake City, UT.

This part-time role offers evening shifts (4:00 PM - 8:00 PM), competitive hourly pay of $17.50, and benefits including health, retirement, PTO, and growth opportunities.

You will perform routine cleaning, disinfect high-touch areas, manage supplies, and collaborate with facility teams to uphold safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all common areas, waiting rooms, hallways, and restrooms.
• Disinfect and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, light switches, and elevator buttons.
• Empty and properly dispose of trash and medical waste according to established guidelines.
• Refill dispensers for soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning meeting rooms and event spaces as necessary.
• Collaborate with maintenance and facility teams to address any issues related to building cleanliness and safety.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Other tasks and projects requested by the customer and/or Advanced Building Maintenance, Inc team.
