Job summary

Progressive Cleaning in Rockledge, Florida, is seeking an Evening/Night Shift Janitor/Groundskeeper to keep the property clean, safe, and properly closed each night. The role covers restroom servicing, trash removal, cleaning the administrative offices, and detail cleaning across common areas with minimal supervision as the property closes.

You will operate cleaning equipment, assist with setup for events, and report any hazards to the Site Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial or groundskeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to operate standard cleaning tools (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Keep property clean, safe, and properly closed each night.
• Empty, clean, and reline trash and recycling receptacles; wipe and disinfect surfaces.
• Service public and back-of-house restrooms and clean offices.
• Wipe benches and outdoor seating areas; manage planters and landscaping debris.
• Operate cleaning equipment and assist with setup/teardown for events.
