Job summary

Performance Plus is hiring for a 2nd shift cleaning role in Indianapolis, IN. The team keeps healthcare, education and other facilities clean and safe.

We offer full-time and part-time positions with competitive benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401k match, PTO and holidays. Applicants should be 18+, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision
• Physical work including lifting 25–60 pounds
• Valid driver’s license for travel to sites (some roles may require a company vehicle)

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, hard surfaces, empty trash and replace liners
• Clean floors and carpets by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, etc.
• Properly use chemicals to maintain the cleanliness of client sites
• Use knowledge of chemical safety to maintain chemicals and supplies on site
• Maintain positive client relations by displaying professionalism
• Use timekeeping system, keys, and security codes
• Restock and report needed supplies and equipment repairs to the supervisor, along with potential hazards
• Complete non-routine/emergency cleaning as specified by work orders

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Availability to work assigned hours and the ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
• Precision and attention to detail
• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Employees should possess a valid driver’s license, to ensure the ability to travel independently to respective job sites. Certain positions require a valid license to operate company vehicle.
• The nature of the work is physical, requires uninhibited manual dexterity, lifting, bending, twisting, pushing and pulling 25 pounds repeatedly and up to 60 pounds (occasionally).
