Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a Part-Time Janitor for evening shifts. The role involves all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas within client sites. Flexible duties per client specifications are required.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or related janitorial experience, with on-the-job training provided. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months of janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces: sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash and use a compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, backpacks, vacuums, and buffers.
• Perform other duties as assigned per client needs.
