Job summary

Compass Group USA seeks a full-time janitor at our Weston location in Florida. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, with benefits including paid holidays, vacation, insurance, and a 401K.

Requires at least 1 year of janitorial experience and ability to perform heavy cleaning tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $16.50 per hour, with online applications accepted for this role in Weston.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year janitorial experience required.
• Ability to perform heavy cleaning duties and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collect trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning and place back correctly.
• Sanitize all surfaces and follow the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items for a clean environment.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
• Complete tasks as assigned by supervisor and comply with guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to the team and maintain professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
