Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor for part-time evening shifts at $13 per hour. The role involves all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside client sites, with flexibility to meet client specifications.

You will perform routine cleaning, restrooms, floors, windows, trash, and light maintenance as needed. Weekly pay and a supportive team environment are highlighted in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or six months of janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment to protect floors and surfaces.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and manage disposal; operate a compactor when required.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors using appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with minor carpet care.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Adhere to the housekeeping schedule and safety guidelines.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the client.
