Job summary

MyComputerCareer in Arlington, TX is seeking an Adjunct Lead Instructor on campus to provide high-quality IT instruction across Resident, online, and hybrid cohorts. You will work with the Director of Education to ensure students receive training that prepares them for certification exams and transitions into the IT workforce.

The role offers an evening schedule (6pm-11pm EST, Mon-Thurs as needed) and an hourly rate of $37.00.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or combination of education and work experience.
• 3+ years of practical work experience in IT (last 10 years) preferred.
• 2+ years of classroom/online instruction preferred.
• Candidates with different combinations of training and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned cohorts in the specified delivery methods.
• Model a team culture focused on helping students succeed.
• Provide leadership for instructors and students, promoting respect and excellence.
• Conduct organized, engaging classes that drive retention and certification.
• Coach instructors to support students of concern and monitor progress.
• Communicate with students via phone, chat, email, or in person.
• Deliver curriculum and activities to prepare students for certification exams.
• Establish clear objectives per syllabus and maintain classroom discipline.
• Contribute to program enhancement with constructive feedback.
