Tarrant County College District invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor in Computer Science/Information Technology at Connect Campus in Fort Worth, TX. • Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a closely related discipline
• Master's degree with eighteen graduate hours in CS or related areas
• Degree from regionally accredited college or university
• Experience teaching in the discipline/teaching area
• Experience teaching a class or facilitating training
• Experience teaching online
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
• Knowledge of how students learn
• Knowledge of the discipline subject matter
• Ability to adapt to student learning needs
• Use of active learning techniques and innovative technology

Responsabilidades

• Accepts and teaches classes based on varied schedules and modalities (Dual Credit, On-Campus, Online or Weekend College) as assigned by supervisor
• Prepares and delivers instruction following the Master Syllabus using the LMS
• Communicates with students and college officials via email and meetings
• Prepares assignments and assessments to ensure learning outcomes
• Maintains active classroom environment conducive to student learning
• Maintains attendance records and certifies enrollments
• Evaluates student performance and posts grades weekly
• Assigns grades in line with course requirements
• Supports assessment of student learning outcomes
• May teach at other sites for dual credit programs
• Participates in professional development and training
