Job summary

RPh on the Go USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced inpatient hospital pharmacist for a second-shift role on a 13-week contract to hire. The position supports 60 to 70 active beds in a 131-bed hospital and uses Epic for order entry with Pyxis automation as part of daily workflow.

You’ll work 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends to ensure patient coverage. Louisiana license and familiarity with Pyxis/EPIC are highly valued; training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Louisiana pharmacist license is required.
• Familiarity with Pyxis automation preferred; training provided.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred; training provided.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and timely in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Use Epic for order entry and collaborate with care teams.
• Manage Pyxis medication automation; training provided if needed.
• Work Monday–Friday, 12:30 PM–9:00 PM with rotating weekends.
• Adhere to hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and safety standards.
