Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care Central New Jersey is seeking a Part-Time Evening Caregiver to provide compassionate in-home support in Matawan, NJ. On-site role with weekday evenings 5PM–9PM and weekend coverage as needed.

You will work with a caregiving team to ensure client safety, comfort, and daily living activities. Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, medication administration, health records, and reporting changes to nurses.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with clients.
• Strong English communication skills.
• HHA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including dressing, bathing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities.
• Administer prescribed medications and help manage health records.
• Ensure a safe and clean living environment for the clients.
• Collaborate with nursing and caregiving teams to report changes in client conditions.
