Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services is hiring a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor in McMinnville, TN, with a schedule from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm and rotating weekends/holidays. Prior lead experience is preferred for supervising the housekeeping team.

The role oversees cleaning operations, safety, and staff productivity, with opportunities for training and advancement within Compass Group’s healthcare portfolio.

Qualifications

• Previous lead experience preferred.
• Experience supervising housekeeping staff is desirable.
• Ability to work 3:00 pm–11:30 pm with rotating weekends and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and participates in sanitation and safety of the facility and associates per standards and regulations.
• Determines cleaning assignments, sets priorities, and records assignments; adjusts for occupancy or emergency requests.
• Ensures security of keys and access to areas.
• Responds to customer needs and resolves concerns.
• Follows procedures and expedites workflow; communicates room completion and availability.
• Inspects rooms, common areas, and stock rooms; approves staff performance and takes corrective action.
• Reports unsafe conditions and maintenance needs; coordinates repairs as needed.
• Oversees productivity and breaks; communicates performance issues to management.
• Participates in onboarding and training of associates; conducts daily pre-service meetings.
• Demonstrates safe use of environmental services equipment and chemicals.
• Completes inventory of materials and linens; manages usage and orders within budget.
• Opens and closes the department; maintains security for department property and funds.
• Communicates with clients, customers, or residents and other departments; professional written/verbal communication.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
