Job summary

Adept of Omaha in Omaha, NE is hiring dependable Housekeepers to join our Environmental Services team. Schedule: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM; Full-Time & Part-Time positions available. Open interviews Wednesdays 11:00 AM- 2:00 pm.

You will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, support infection control, and work with a supportive leadership team to enhance resident care and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently while also being part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and infection control practices.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds as required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment throughout the facility.
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, and other assigned areas.
• Remove trash and soiled linens according to facility procedures.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
• Properly use cleaning products, chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment in clean and safe working condition.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, maintenance concerns, or unusual conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
• Respect resident privacy, dignity, personal belongings, and living spaces.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.
• Work collaboratively with nursing, maintenance, and other facility departments.
• Complete assigned housekeeping duties accurately and within established timeframes.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
