Adept of Omaha is seeking dependable, hardworking, detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our Environmental Services team.
We believe a clean, safe, and comfortable environment is essential to providing excellent resident care. Our Housekeepers play an essential role in infection prevention, resident safety, and the overall quality of life of the residents we serve.
You will work alongside an experienced Environmental Services Director and facility leadership team in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Housekeeper Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment throughout the facility.
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, and other assigned areas.
- Remove trash and soiled linens according to facility procedures.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
- Properly use cleaning products, chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintain housekeeping equipment in clean and safe working condition.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, maintenance concerns, or unusual conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
- Respect resident privacy, dignity, personal belongings, and living spaces.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.
- Work collaboratively with nursing, maintenance, and other facility departments.
- Complete assigned housekeeping duties accurately and within established timeframes.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
- Healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care housekeeping experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently while also being part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and infection control practices.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to communicate respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers.
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds as required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in a skilled nursing, long-term care, healthcare, or senior living environment.
- Experience working around residents and families.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and proper sanitation procedures.
- Familiarity with professional cleaning equipment, including mops, vacuums, and other housekeeping equipment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and OSHA guidelines.
