Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education (GED, homeschool equivalency, etc.)
• Two years of college preferred
• Zero experience; one year of Pharmacy Technician experience applicable to the setting highly preferred
• Texas Pharmacy Technician Registration or Texas Registered Pharmacist Intern
• IV Certification - Intravenous certification (Various Issuers)

Responsibilities

• Triaging phone calls and supporting medication acquisition activities
• Repackaging, labeling, charging/crediting medications as needed
• Dispensing medications and maintaining accurate records
• Inventorying medications and ensuring proper storage
• Compounding medications where required and safe handling practices
• Maintaining safety and customer service standards for patients and staff
