Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred (e.g., parenteral/unit dose medication preparation, dispensing, inventory management).
• Some experience with software tools to maintain documentation/records preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician License Registration with the State of Tennessee required (TN).
• PTCB Certification required; ACE, CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under direct pharmacist supervision, perform routine technical and clerical tasks (e.g., dispensing medications, prescription filling, mail-out order processing).
• Prepare unit dose medications, outpatient prescriptions, and intravenous admixtures.
• Support filing and maintenance of patient records.
• Assist in ordering, stocking, and distribution of inventory across the pharmacy and institution.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet department objectives.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
