Job summary

Saint Francis Health System is seeking an Environmental Services Laundry staff member at the Muskogee Campus. The full-time evening shift runs 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends, supporting patient care by providing clean linen.

Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED with 0–6 months general experience. No licensure required; safety and infection-control standards are emphasized throughout daily duties.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing skills required; ability to understand safety signage.
• Must understand and follow oral instructions related to laundry processes.
• Physically capable of meeting job demands and operating laundry equipment.

Responsibilities

• Picks up soiled linen from chutes and storage areas.
• Sorts linen by type and weighs soiled linen for processing.
• Loads/unloads linen on/off delivery trucks; stores supplies.
• Monitors dryers, ironer, and chemical supply to maintain operation.
• Folds, stacks, and moves linen to bulk storage carts and departments.
• Delivers clean linen carts and maintains infection-control standards.
• Keeps work area clean and safe; performs other duties as assigned.
