• Prepares cleaning solutions, housekeeping supplies and equipment as assigned to perform cleaning tasks.
• Dusts and cleans furniture, fixtures, and surfaces according to procedures.
• Cleans bathrooms and replenishes soap and paper supplies.
• Disinfects rooms and patient furniture with germicidal solution.
• Hangs/removes cubicle curtains and moves furniture as needed.
• Spot cleans windows, walls and carpets.
• Follows established procedures and safety rules.
• Operates and maintains equipment safely.
• Maintains OSHA/JCAHO standards compliance.
• Stores, labels and disposes of chemicals properly.
• Reports safety hazards and damaged furnishings.
