Job summary

Avera is seeking staff for evening cleaning responsibilities at O’Neill, NE. The role requires maintaining a clean environment in patient rooms, offices, and common areas, with a schedule of 2:00pm–10:30pm and rotating weekends/holidays.

Experience is modest; high school diploma or GED is required and benefits include PTO from day one. Ideal candidates will perform dusting, mopping, trash removal, restocking, and linen handling while delivering courteous service within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High School or GED Equivalent.
• One to three months related experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area. These areas may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.
• Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. These may include, but not be limited to: dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash.
• Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies.
• Maintain good customer relations at all times.
• May sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens.
