Job summary

Baptist Downtown is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper to join the Environmental Services team in Jacksonville, FL. This role ensures a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff, utilizing UV disinfection tech prior to manual cleaning.

The position is full-time with evening hours (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and rotates weekends/holidays, offering 40 hours per week at Baptist Downtown. 1-2 years of EVS experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Environmental Services experience preferred.
• High School Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning duties including janitorial and custodial services.
• Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, and waiting areas.
• Maintains cleaning supplies per OSHA requirements.
• Maintains friendly and professional attitude.
• Follows safety and security protocols.
• May perform other duties as required.
