Job summary

Baptist Downtown Hospital is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper to join the Environmental Services team. The role ensures a safe, clean environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues, using standard cleaning methods and UV disinfection technology before manual cleaning.

Full-time evenings, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays; 40 hours per week. 1–2 years EVS experience and a High School Diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Environmental Services experience preferred.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Follows OSHA safety rules and hospital cleaning protocols.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning duties in offices, patient rooms, and common areas.
• Mops, sweeps, dusts, and sanitizes to maintain a safe environment.
• Maintains cleaning supplies per OSHA requirements and safety protocols.
