Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to perform environmental cleaning and disinfecting. The role supports maintaining a sanitary and orderly facility, with primary hours typically 3pm–11:30pm and occasional day shift coverage as needed.

Experience in hospital cleaning and following established methods is preferred. The position requires completing high school or equivalent, ability to read and follow instructions, and capable maintenance of cleaning

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred; must read, write and follow instructions.
• Experience: at least two to six months as an Environment Attendant; hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to follow established cleaning methods in daily tasks.
• Ability to perform routine repetitive cleaning of patient rooms, offices, rest rooms and other areas.
• Must be able to keep all equipment in good working condition.
• Ability to perform periodic or situational duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental cleaning and disinfecting in assigned areas to maintain a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition.
• Support daily cleaning operations in the facility and ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Coordinate with supervisors for any special cleaning tasks or coverage needs.
