Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, located in Bradenton, Florida, is seeking a Housekeeper to join its housekeeping team. This full-time role supports a sparkling clean, hygienic, and patient-centered environment across patient rooms and facility spaces.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior housekeeping experience is preferred. Basic computer skills for patient room turnover and the ability to work independently are expected.

Responsibilities

• Routinely cleans patient’s rooms in a timely manner after discharge of patients.
• May clean nursing units, surgical areas, offices, laboratory areas, waiting areas, public restrooms, and other areas as assigned.
• Responsible for providing linen services throughout the facility.
• Monitors the facility with a critical eye to catch those items that need cleaning and attention.
• Uses cleaning supplies and equipment as regulated to provide a safe cleaning environment.
• Must be able to work with cleaning supplies in a safe manner
• Able to multi-task with safety practices.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
