Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa, ID is hiring a full-time Environmental Services Technician (Housekeeper) for the evening shift. Qualifications

• Disinfect patient treatment, invasive care areas, staff and visitor areas per policy.

Responsibilities

• Disinfect patient treatment, invasive care areas, staff, and visitor areas to maximize infection prevention and patient safety.
• Collect, store, and dispose of general medical, biohazard, chemotherapy, sharps and soiled linen from patient treatment areas.
• Interact with patients and visitors to provide directions and hospital information.
• Perform projects such as cubicle curtain changes, floor refinishing, carpet cleaning, and wall washing.
• Prepare patient rooms for new patients, including disinfection, bed making, floor care and supplies replenishment.
