Qualifications

• To qualify, no specific length of training is required, but you must show evidence of training or experience.
• Applicants are evaluated under the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards; screen-out element applies.

Responsibilities

• Executes a full range of housekeeping in patient and non-patient care areas.
• May be assigned to any tour and work in various designated areas during any tour.
• Works independently with general supervision or with a team for cleaning duties.
• Performs floor maintenance, wall washing, cleans doors, frames, baseboards and edges.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, strips, buffs, vacuums, and cleans carpets and runners.
• Operates heavy cleaning equipment and changes attachments for best results.
• Empties trash and replaces liners; transports waste and recyclables to central areas.
• Cleans restrooms, showers, disinfects and deodorizes fixtures; replenishes supplies.
• Cleans mirrors, sinks, water fountains; handles light fixtures.
• Schedule: 3:00pm–11:30pm; PPE may be required; indoor work with possible outdoor exposure.
