Job summary

Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center in Santa Fe, NM is hiring for a Full-time Housekeeper/Environmental Services Tech. Evenings shift. The role maintains cleanliness and safety throughout the facility, supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than one year of experience in institutional housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all areas according to departmental standards.
• Ensures proper infection control procedures when processing linen, trash, medical waste, and performing cleaning tasks.
• Demonstrates awareness of the PI Program, Excellence in Action, Competencies, and Presbyterian's Mission & Vision.
• Maintains and uses housekeeping equipment properly and safely.
• Reports pertinent information to the supervisor or appropriate authority.
• Performs departmental record keeping.
• Ensures appropriate linen and supply levels.
• Performs floor care.
