Job summary

Atlantic Health System Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Environmental Services Supervisor for the Environmental Services Department (Housekeeping). The shift is 3:30 PM–11:30 PM, including weekends and holidays, with a starting rate of $30.21 per hour (salaried).

Responsibilities include coordinating staff schedules, assigning duties, ensuring cleanliness in patient areas, training staff, and addressing repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree a plus.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to bend/lift/push/pull at least 50lbs.
• Must be on your feet for an extended period.

Responsibilities

• Arrange with manager for special activity functions and settings.
• Receive work assignments and establish daily staff schedules.
• Assign duties, issue supplies and inspect work.
• Train staff in cleaning methods and efficient material use.
• Ensure cleanliness standards in patient and other hospital areas.
• Coordinate trash removal and monitor grounds daily.
• Report needs for repairs and maintenance and follow up.
