Job summary

UNC REX Healthcare seeks an Environmental Services Aide to clean all areas of the hospital following established policies and procedures. The role includes dusting, disinfecting, restocking supplies, transporting linens and waste, and maintaining equipment to support a safe, sanitary environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 25 lbs, and tolerate very physical tasks throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Prefers a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to understand English instructions (oral/written).
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all areas of the hospital/care center following policies and procedures.
• Dusts, disinfects, restocks, trash disposal, mopping, scrubbing, waxing and equipment handling.
• Replenishes linens and supplies to par levels; operates and maintains equipment per procedure.
