Job summary

Allina Health in Cambridge, MN is hiring an Environmental Services Aide to keep patient rooms, operating rooms, exam rooms, and public areas clean and safe. Your attention to detail supports healing and a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

The role is a part-time, 8-hour evening shift (0.5 FTE, 20 hours per week) with every-3rd weekend, working under the L70-3-Cambridge union contract. Prior ES experience is welcome, HS diploma/GED accepted.

Qualifications

• 0 to 2 years of environmental services experience or high school diploma/GED.
• Ability to work in a healthcare setting with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes and disinfects all areas of health care facility.
• Maintains cleanliness of patient rooms, operating rooms, exam rooms, treatment rooms, care centers and public areas.
• Collects and transports solid and infectious waste within the health care facility.
• May stock clean linen in linen room and departments.
