Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking a full-time Environmental Services team member for the Evening Shift. You will perform repetitive cleaning tasks to maintain a sanitary hospital environment, handling furniture, equipment, and supplies, and using seven-step cleaning methods.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms and facilities, restocking supplies, and operating cleaning equipment while following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend basic written instructions in English.
• 3+ months of cleaning experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Must be able to safely move, lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. individually.
• Requires working with cleaning chemicals and products in a safe manner.
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and other motions involved in the cleaning process.

Responsibilities

• Receives cleaning assignments and supplies such as mops, buckets, vacuum cleaner, disinfectants, and more.
• Cleans assigned areas using germicidal solutions and polishes fixtures and equipment.
• Removes refuse and restocks supplies after cleaning tasks.
• Cleans floors, carpets, walls, windows, and doors with appropriate equipment.
• Inspects area to ensure cleanliness and neatness after cleaning.
