Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Barista at UM Hospital Market Coffee Main in Miami, FL. The role involves making coffee and related food items, handling HACCP-compliant food service, and engaging with customers. Shift is 4:00 pm to 12:30 am; weekends may be required. Prior barista experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders accurately into POS; accepts cash and card payments.
• Maintains cleanliness of service area and replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies.
• Ensures proper food preparation by following HACCP guidelines and production standards.
• Greets customers and provides courteous service; facilitates buying decisions.
• Maintains display foods attractively and serves neatly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
