Job summary

Ogden City School District Opportunity Center seeks a part-time High School Behavioral/Instructional Staff Assistant to support students with behavioral needs and assist with reading, math and language tasks after school hours.

The role involves direct intervention, data entry, coordination with counselors, and collaboration with teachers to sustain positive student outcomes in a dynamic school setting in Ogden, Utah.

Qualifications

• Requires 48 college credit hours or ParaPro test.
• Six months of related experience with elementary age children, behavior management, and/or coaching.

Responsibilities

• Assist in College and Career readiness.
• Direct instructional intervention and behavior services support for students.
• Support teacher instructional interventions in the classroom and work with the Positive Behavior Support Program.
• Student data entry and monitoring using data systems.
• Aid counselors with the student registration process.
• Schedule appointments and mails information as requested.
• Assist teachers in working one-on-one with students in reading, math, science, etc.

Education

48 college credit hours or a passing score on the ParaPro test
