Job summary

UT Southwestern in Dallas is seeking an Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse for part-time evening shifts to provide hemodialysis therapy in an acute hospital setting.

The RN will assess, initiate, monitor and terminate treatments, document responses, and communicate with physicians and staff to ensure patient safety and quality care. A minimum of 1 year in dialysis/acute care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license upon hire; BLS and ACLS upon hire.
• Minimum of one year of acute dialysis/critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute hemodialysis therapy per orders.
• Assess patients' responses and adjust treatment as needed.
• Document treatment and communicate changes to the team.
• Coordinate with physicians and nursing staff for continuity of care.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and equipment calibration.
