Job summary

Salem Health is seeking an associate maintenance engineer to support our facilities team at 665 Winter Street SE in Salem, OR. The role focuses on repairs, installations, and safe operation of hospital infrastructure within a 40-hour, full-time schedule.

You will document work, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with department leads to improve reliability. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with an Oregon driver’s license and 4+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; higher level education may be accepted in lieu of diploma.
• Valid Oregon driver’s license and eligibility for Salem Health’s Fleet Safety Program within three months of hire.
• Minimum of four years of building and equipment maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of repairs, installations, and modifications to hospital equipment and buildings with limited supervision.
• Complete maintenance per manufacturer specs and hospital standards.
• Maintain maintenance history and documentation in the electronic maintenance management system.
