Job summary

Gundersen Health System is seeking an energetic Central Service Distribution Aide to join our mission-driven team in La Crosse, WI. The role supports patient care by handling supply deliveries, stocking, and equipment management in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Starting pay is $17.10/hour with additional shift differentials. The position is 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, with PM shift hours and occasional weekends/holidays. No experience required; high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• No experience required.
• Ability to multitask and handle conflicting priorities.
• Ability to walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Gain valuable supply chain experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Rotate among several supply & equipment delivery tasks with changing priorities.
• Provide internal customer service by taking calls from nursing, OR, and clinic staff to fulfill urgent needs.
• Clean and redistribute moveable medical equipment throughout the hospital.
• Unbox and stock nightly deliveries of supplies in storage rooms and the OR.
• Ensure accuracy of supplies within emergency carts and kits by replacing used or expired items.
