Job summary

High Point New Bedford is seeking a full-time housekeeper to keep patient areas clean, safe, and sanitary, ensuring infection control standards are followed.

The role is Sunday–Thursday, 2nd shift, with a pay range of $20/hr–$23.50/hr, dependent on education and experience. Benefits include medical and vision insurance, disability, 403b retirement, flexible spending, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Knowledge of infection control standards.
• Commitment to confidentiality and patient rights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, bathrooms and common areas.
• Disinfect and sanitize surfaces and equipment.
• Mop, buff, and maintain floors as required.
• Replace linens and manage waste handling as needed.
• Attend mandatory training and unit meetings.
