Job summary

HCI Sports & Fitness, Bee Cave, just outside Austin, seeks experienced Group Fitness Instructors with weekday evening availability to lead engaging, safe and fun classes for members of all levels.

You will instruct various formats, modify as needed, monitor technique for safety, and cultivate an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere. Competitive pay per class, free membership, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Current group fitness certification(s)
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification
• Availability to teach weekday evening classes between 5 and 8 p.m.
• Experience instructing classes such as yoga, barre, Pilates, boxing, spin, weightlifting or strength
• Strong communication skills and coachability

Responsibilities

• Provide clear instruction during scheduled group fitness classes
• Provide appropriate modifications based on participants’ fitness levels and restrictions
• Ensure participant safety by monitoring and correcting form, technique, and equipment usage
• Foster an inclusive environment for all members and first-time visitors
• Manage your schedule of classes within our team, including requesting subs and helping cover classes for fellow instructors
