Austin Country Club in Austin, TX is seeking a full-time Grill Cook to join our kitchen. You will prepare and execute orders promptly, maintain a clean and organized station, and support our team during busy service and events.

Starting pay is $21.50 per hour with generous benefits. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required to support our year-round operation. We value quality, speed, and teamwork, and offer growth opportunities within a tradition-rich, private club.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years grill station experience with steak cooking.
• Experience across multiple kitchen stations and meat temping.
• Ability to perform all basic and intermediate cooking tasks.
• Organized and calm demeanor.
• Strong communication with team and members.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute orders promptly and efficiently.
• Set up and break down station; keep equipment, linens, and surfaces clean.
• Assist with event functions as needed; communicate with manager to resolve issues.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Attend scheduled meetings or trainings and support management tasks.
