Job summary

Compass Group is hiring for a full-time Grill Cook at Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT. The schedule is nights and weekends, 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with some shifts 2:00 pm–10:00 pm. Pay begins at $21.00–$21.50 per hour, with meal benefits during shifts and training available.

Qualifications

• Previous high volume, fast paced short order cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares grill items in accordance with current standards to ensure quality and consistency.
• Takes orders and serves customers at the grill station while maintaining steps of service.
• Ensures food is cooked to temperature and presented attractively.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards on the grill line and adjacent work areas.
• Assists with stocking, labeling, and rotation of ingredients and supplies.
