Job summary

A-Action Facility Services Inc. is seeking a General Cleaner / Custodian in Henry County, GA. The shift runs 6PM to 11PM and you will maintain floors, restrooms, entrances, and other areas, using cleaners and power equipment as directed.

Prior cleaning experience is helpful. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be eligible to work in the United States. Health, dental, and retirement plan benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming).
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage.
• Clean restrooms, corridors, and store entrance areas.
• Empty trash and manage waste disposal; use a compactor when needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with extractions/shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule and use heavy cleaning equipment as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you have to do as a Custodian/Janitor:

• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, and store entrance areas
• Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.

• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs.

• RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION IS A MUST! (There are no MARTA stations)
• Able to successfully pass a drug test in some situations required
