ACMH INC in New York, NY, seeks a Part-Time Front Desk Monitor for the Garden House. The role handles resident and visitor reception, takes messages, distributes mail, and assists with safety and crisis response within a residential program.

Shifts are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00pm to 11:00pm or Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00am to 3:00pm, with occasional coverage at other ACMH locations as needed. A high school diploma and strong people skills are required; pay is $21.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Monitors entry and egress of residents and guests.
• Takes telephone messages for residents and staff.
• Distributes resident mail.
• Provides first line of defense in emergencies; assists with crisis intervention and building evacuation.
• Conducts building rounds during shift.
• Records resident events, incidents, and walkthrough observations.
• Monitors and documents resident self-administration of medication.
• Reports incidents or behavioral changes to on-call staff.
• Attends training as requested.
• Provides front desk coverage at other ACMH residential locations as assigned, based on program needs.
• Maintains a calm, respectful, and professional demeanor when interacting with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Duties as assigned by supervisor.
