Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions Inc in Denver, CO is hiring a Freight Handler for the 2pm–Midnight shift. This full-time, non-exempt role loads and unloads freight using a forklift, pallet jack, and handcart, and works with handheld scanners to track shipments.

You must be at least 18, able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 90 lbs occasionally, and have six months forklift experience. The position is safety-sensitive and reports to the Operations Supervisor.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trailers utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, and/or hand cart
• Use handheld scanners to efficiently track and document freight
• Accurately identify, sticker, and stage inbound freight
• Verify the condition of freight to assure quality standards
• Other duties as assigned
