Manpower Group (USA) is assisting a client in Richmond, VA, to hire a Forklift Operator for its warehouse team. The role focuses on moving, loading, and staging goods, with attention to labeling, damages, and inventory accuracy.

The position requires forklift certification or training within 30 days, and a preference for at least six months of warehouse experience. The shift runs Tuesday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM, with a base pay of $21/hour plus a $1 differential, paid weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Forklift operator certification or completion of a forklift training program within 30 days of employment.
• Minimum of six months warehouse experience and forklift operation experience desirable.
• Ability to operate powered material handling equipment for 80% of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered equipment such as forklifts and clamp trucks to move, load, unload, and stage products and materials.
• Check inbound and outbound products for damage, infestation, and proper labeling.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reports.
• Ensure all safety standards and OSHA regulations are followed during operations.
• Assist in physical inventories and perform routine equipment inspections.
