Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., producer of YellaWood brand pressure-treated pine, is seeking FORKLIFT OPERATORS for the Tuscumbia, AL location. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Summary: Drives industrial forklift truck to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the duties described. Regular shift hours are 3PM–11PM, Monday–Friday, with additional hours possible.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have previous forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive forklift and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks under, over, or around pallets and transports loads to designated areas.
• Unloads and stacks material using the forklift.
• Keeps record of inventory and supplies workers with materials as needed.
