Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. in Lenox, IA is hiring a Forklift Operator to move materials, load and unload pallets, and keep the warehouse organized and safe. You will follow GMPs, complete inspections, and assist with order fulfillment during the 12:00pm to 9:00pm shift.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, basic math skills, and the ability to read, write and speak English. Prior palletized warehouse experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) is required.
• Powered Industrial Truck training and forklift certification are required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong math and configuration skills are necessary.
• Six months of palletized warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-shift meetings and stretch as a group.
• Operate forklift safely and productively.
• Complete daily forklift inspection and remove from service if defective.
• Ship and receive product accurately and damage-free.
