Clorox Company in Spring Hill, KS is seeking a Shipping Operator to join the Plant Distribution Center. You will operate forklifts, move raw materials and finished goods, and support shipping, receiving, and production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, teamwork, and continuous improvement as you log inventory transactions, verify loads, and maintain site housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environments preferred.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other powered equipment.
• Basic math, reading and documentation skills.
• Experience with inventory systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and safety focus.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment per policies and OSHA regulations.
• Transport raw materials, packaging material, and production supplies within the plant.
• Move finished products from production to designated storage locations.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and railcars.
• Verify quantities and load accuracy during shipping and receiving.
• Supply production lines to support uninterrupted operations.
• Perform routine quality checks and inspections to meet standards.
• Complete paperwork and inventory transactions accurately in systems.
• Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and tracking.
• Conduct pre/post-shift forklift inspections and report issues.
• Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping to keep the area safe.
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental procedures; communicate with teams.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
